Valentine's Day 2009

Since we have had kids, we have not been out on Valentine's Day. We usually cook steaks, and get some dessert of course, and just hang out at the house. This year, my mother-in-law offered to watch the kids so we could go out. We took her up on her offer. We spent the day with the kiddos, and then the evening just the 2 of us! We enjoyed a nice, quiet dinner and then went and had a couple's massage which was very much needed! We ended the night at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Thanks for a wonderful day & night honey! Love you!

Another addition to our family!

We are so excited about our new addition to the family. His name is Maximus "MAX" and he is a 7 week old boxer puppy! Mike went and got him on Saturday at only 6 weeks and 5 days old. He is so sweet, and we just love him! We surprised the kids on Sunday, and they were so excited. Madeline was literally jumping for joy, and Pierson seemed really excited and wanted to go pet him. I thought Pierson was doing good until Max got too close, and Pierson seriously was shaking, and having a massive panic attack. He just froze and even got knock over at one point. He is starting to get a little more comfortable with Max. Pierson wants to go pet Max, but when he gets up to Max he freaks out. It is hysterical!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BO!

Happy 27th Birthday little brother! I hope you have a wonderful and exciting day, and I can't wait to go celebrate! We are getting old! Well I guess I am. LOL! Here you are turning 27, and me 30 in a few weeks. WOW how time flies. It seems like just yesterday that I was dressing you up like a girl, and tricking you into getting in rocking toy boxes so I could sit on it and rock while you were stuck in there. Man, I was really mean! I did it out of love, you know! Madeline will probably do the same things to Pierson. I love you, and I am so glad to have such an adorable little brother!

Now I lay me down to sleep!

Prayers have always been apart of our bedtime routine. Usually Mike or I will say them with Madeline before she goes to bed! However lately Madeline wants to say her own prayers. Normally they go something like this:

"Dear Jesus, please watch over all the people because you know, see and hear all the people. I want you to make all the strangers nice (she learned Stranger Danger at MDO). I want you to make the bugs nice so they won't bite us anymore! Watch over my hippo, and my room. And please keep us all safe!"

Of course there are many different versions and fun things she prays for, but nothing could of prepared me for what came next!

"Jesus, I just want you to help me find someone who will marry me!"

I couldn't help but laugh and so she peaked open her eyes and said "Why are you laughing, was that funny?" I said "No, it is very sweet!" I'm thinking OMG, she is 3 years old and already praying for her future husband. I guess it is never to early to start praying for your husband! LOL

After Holiday Family Fun!

Our family loves to go shopping at North Park! So we took the kids to eat at Maggiano's, which we absolutely love, and then on to the shopping. We made a few stops along the way, were Madeline found her own entertainment!

Madeline got a Build-a-Bear gift card for Christmas so we took the kids, and I think Pierson enjoyed it more than Madeline!

We took the kids to Gattitown, and they loved it! Pierson just loved all the food, and Madeline wanted to play and ride rides all day! It was a fun day! Pierson had a huge accident in his pants, probably because he ate so much. I had to go next door to Carters and buy him some new socks and pants so Mike wouldn't have to keep carrying him around pantless! It was a mess!

Tiffany goes Gothic!

Okay, so my plan was to get my hair all dark brown (which is my natural hair color) for easy maintenance. Well after talking to my hair lady, we decided to mix 2 colors together to give it a red undertone. Well as you can see my hair is BLACK with red undertones, and I am pale! I thought it might grow on me, but no it hasn't. Back to the salon I must go! I took some pics because some of you have ask to see it.

CHEESE! WOW that is a big smile!

Christmas (The Condensed Version)

Okay so if I had not been so busy as mentioned in my previous post, than this would have been our family Christmas card. However since I never got around to it, none of my family or friends received one from us this year! I know I was sad! My friend Kelly very kindly made this for me! You are so sweet Kelly, and I wish I would of been able to use it. Maybe next year!

We had several Christmas parties this year so let me try to go through them as quick as possible, hopefully without leaving any out!

First, we had my family Christmas party with my mom's side of the family & my dad's mom. We all ate at Saltgrass (all 20 something of us), and then headed back to our house for dessert and presents!
Madeline & Mimi (my mom)

My brother Bo, and Mike

Madeline, Hagen, Sky, & Star(cousins)

Second, we had Mike's Christmas Party for all of his staff! We had it at Primo's on the lake, and it was awesome! My husband is so amazing and I love seeing him in work mode! I think he and his staff have the best real estate team in the area! I can say these things since I am his supportive wife! Even with the market the way it is, they had an increase in sells yet another year! How many other real estate teams can say that right now! You go guys!
No Madeline did not go with us!

Third, we went to our friend's house (Holly & Chad) to have dinner & let the kids exchange gifts! They have a daughter Morgan who is one year younger than Madeline, and they are having a baby boy in January or February! We love you guys!

Excuse Pierson's pants. He had an accident in his other ones!

Fourth, we had our Christmas with Nana (Mike's mom). Nana came over on Christmas Eve for dinner and presents! After presents, we loaded up and went to see Christmas lights! The night would not have been complete without a stop to see Mr. & Mrs. Clause! Every year, we go see this house that has their lights set to music, and they have a stage where Mr. & Mrs. Clause come out to sing & dance! What a fun night!

Fifth, we woke up on Christmas morning to find that Santa had delivered lots of goodies! We spent time opening all of our gifts and stockings before we had to make our next stop!
Random Christmas Picture
Madeline said Santa would want a turkey plate for his cookies because he doesn't have one!

Sixth, we went to my mom & dad's house to have our traditional Christmas breakfast! We scored again, there was lots of food & gifts for everyone!

And last but not least, we couldn't do Christmas without Madeline exchanging gifts with her friend Talon!

* And the one event I had to miss was the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party! I was really excited about going, but our family Christmas party ended up on the same night. Next year, Kelly!
