Where has the time gone?

Well I can't believe it has been 6 months since I have done a post on my blog! I mean seriously you would think I was busy or something! I have tried to keep in contact with everyone through my blog, myspace, and facebook, but with my OCD and all, I just couldn't keep up with it the way I wanted to! We have drama and crazy stuff going on every single day, that I just couldn't keep up! I haven't been on myspace at all and so I have been keeping everything updated on Facebook! I have added my link to facebook so that way if I don't post for awhile there is always facebook! So what has happened over the last 6 months? Well lets see.....

We went to 6 birthday parties!

I hosted 2 baby showers!

Pierson turned 2 & we had his party!

Mike & I took the kids to the Great Wolf Lodge!

I went to Florida with a friend!

I went to New York with my mom, my friend Rachelle & her mom!

Mike & I went to Cancun, Mexico!

4 friends had babies!

My aunt(only 1 year older than me) had a 3lb. baby boy in the NICU!

Mike & I took the kids to the Fort Worth Zoo!

Mike & I spent the weekend in Oklahoma to watch his nephew graduate high school!

Mike's 18 year old nephew lived with us for 6 weeks this summer!

Mike's 15 year old brother stayed with us for 4 weeks this summer!

Mike & I celebrated our 7 year Anniversary in May!

Madeline took swim lessons again this summer!

Madeline started DANCE!

Madeline started SOCCER!

We moved Madeline's room downstairs where the playroom was and had it painted, decorated, and got her all new bedding & furniture! Which meant I had to move the playroom upstairs, etc

Pierson got moved to a BIG boy bed!

Had several lunch dates with friends ( One I went to middle school with & one I hadn't seen since we graduated from nursing school in 2001)

Started seeing a Chiropractor three days a week (my neck was completely messed up)

Had family pictures taken after being canceled on 4 times due to weather!

Mike went to Palm Springs, CA on a guy's golf trip for his 30th birthday!

Oh yeah, and I had the SWINE FLU


Well of course that is not everything, but that was the main things I could remember besides all the everyday stuff we all deal with! I really hope to have more time to catch up on things, but if not, find me on facebook in the meantime! I will post some pics soon! I have a ton on Facebook though!

Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter all weekend! We went to breakfast as a family on Saturday, did some shopping, and went to the park! Later that afternoon we met with our friends (Swift Family), and decorated eggs and then did an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos! We had dinner together and then called it a night!

Pierson thought it was more fun to fill his basket, and then dump it out!

Sunday morning, the kids woke up and found that the Easter bunny had stopped by to leave them a surprise!

Easter Party Hopping!

Last weekend, we had lots of Easter festivities! We met up with our friends Crystal, Kris, Kane, and Colton to hop from party to party! It was so much fun, and a bit chaotic at times, but the kids loved it! We started out at the city Easter egg hunt! That was so crowded the kids were fighting for eggs! I am telling you some of these parents were out of control. They were screaming at there kids "over there, right here!" This one mom was standing up on this brick sign, looking over all the kids and directing her 6 year old on where to go! It was crazy! I mean who does that? Madeline enjoyed seeing the hippo, and all 3 Chickfila cows! Of course, we had to get pictures!

After the city Easter event, we headed over to our community Easter event. They had a petting zoo, train rides, the Easter lady bunny, a balloon artist, face painting, and an Easter show! The first place Madeline wanted to go was the petting zoo! She loves the animals!

We couldn't leave without first playing on the playground. Pierson loved going down all the slides! He is such a big boy!

Next, we were on to the swings! Crystal & I were taking pictures & Kris was the official swinger! LOL! Not that kind of swinger!

And the last Easter party was at the mall! We had to get a picture in front of the Oscar Mayer car!

Madeline was ready for pictures with the Easter bunny! Pierson on the other hand like him about as much as Santa! HA! HA! These were just some of the pictures we took!

After a long day of Easter festivities, we decided to head back to the Mazyck house to cook steaks, start a fire, and enjoy the hot tub once the little ones were asleep! The boys nearly caught the house on fire, seriously! We have a fire pit table that has a beverage tray, and a fire pit tray. Well after enjoying the fire for quite some time, we started to notice something wasn't right! The bottom of the tray was melting out, and the fire was about to fall straight out of the bottom of the table and on to the patio! The guys moved the table out by the pool, and put some gloves on to get the fire under control! They managed to fix the problem, and we were able to continue the night without calling the fire department!

We had so much fun! Thanks Swift family for spending the weekend with us!

Disney on Ice!

Spring Break was here, and we had absolutely nothing planned. We had just gotten back from Disney World, so what in the world do we do to top that over Spring Break? My friend Tina called and ask if Madeline & I would want to go to Disney on Ice with her & Talon. That was a great idea! I knew that Maddy would love to go since we just got back from seeing all of the Disney characters in Florida! We had so much fun! We went to dinner at Olive Garden first, and then to the show! The kids loved it, and they were so good! Well at the show Maddy was good! At dinner was a whole different situation! It was a great night! Thanks Tina & Talon for inviting us to go with you guys!
